-Combined weight of two slot Redfish

-1/2 lbs. will be rewarded for live weigh-in for release.

-Side Pot / Trophies for heaviest Black Drum, Trout, Redfish, Flounder, and most spots on Redfish.

Tournament Rules

This tournament will be open to all kayakers. There is no specific launch site but there will be boundaries (as shown below). This is an individual tournament but you may fish with partners.No Fish Pooling allowed.

-You may have as many as 3 rods on board but can only fish with one line in the water only.

-Natural or artificial bait is allowed.

-No cast netting fish

-No sail lines

-No motoring of the vessel at any time during the tournament.

-All fish weighed in and entered must be caught during official tournament hours on the day of the tournament.

-All fish presented for weigh-in will be monitored for freshness and will be inspected by the weighmaster.

-NO OVERSIZED RED DRUM WILL BE WEIGHED IN, TAGGED OR NOT! This will result in disqualification from the tournament.

-NO BLACK DRUM OVER 30 INCHES WILL BE WEIGHED IN.

-All fish must be weighed-in by the entrant who originally caught the fish and must be in that entrant’s physical possession at the time of the weigh-in.

-Sportsmanship, courtesy, safety, and conservation are expected from all entrants.

-All game laws of the state of Texas, applicable to fishing on public waters, must be

followed. Any violations will be cause for immediate disqualification. Any and all winnings will be forfeited.

-Any entrant found to be in violation of any tournament rules and regulations will be subject to disqualification from this tournament and all future tournaments.
