Fishing with Mike is like fishing with a lifelong friend. I consider myself an avid kayak fisherman, while others in my party have never kayak fished and each of us had a great experience. Mike takes a lot of time to show you the ropes of kayaking and fishing if that’s what you want/need. For someone like myself, he would just make a quick suggestion on a technique or adjustment and I was pretty quickly getting on larger fish.Captain Mike takes the approach of being a highly knowledgeable fishing buddy rather than the guy who “knows it all”. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! I will definitely be back and can’t expect anyone else to have a different experience than we did yesterday.

I took a guided kayak tour with Mike some months back and it completely changed the way I thought about fishing. Mike and his staff are so awesome and knowledgeable when it comes to getting every angler outfitted with the right gear. Instantly fell in love with the Hobie products they carry along with tackle accessories and everything in between to get you right on the water. Definitely recommend this shop to any and everyone.
